The Star Made Me Buy It

 Today's star is the very cute - when she was young - Bonita Granville, here in 1944 selling Jergen's Lotion.  .

My original impression was that her career was mainly in Andy Hardy movies, but I got that wrong, wrong, wrong. She was in only two of them. She had her own series of movies in the late 1930s, playing Nancy Drew.  She was also in Now, Voyager, and Third Finger, Left Hand, both of which are movies I always stop for if I catch them when I'm channel-surfing..
