latest additions to my collection of vintage advertising ashtrays

It's been a very lucky couple of months.

What's unlucky is that I can't find at least two that I bought within the last month.  But I'm sure they're in the house somewhere.

On to what you came for:

Bill's Blue Room, Elizabeth, NJ

I'm sorry the image looks so blurry.  Try as I might, I simply couldn't get a good picture of this.

The place is not googleable.

It would have been one of those buildings in the background:

========================================================================

Bingaman Motor Express

I found a link on the 'net from a 1960 newspaper, stating that Hall's Motor Company, of Sunbury, PA, was about to buy both Buch Express, Inc, and Bingaman Motor Express.

It appears that Hall's Motor Company doesn't exist anymore, nor do Buch or Bingaman.

======================================================================

Jimmie's Spaghetti House, Madison, WI

Not googleable.

And 906 Regent Street doesn't even exist anymore.

The building on the left is 910 Regent St. the one of the right is 902 Regent St.

=====================================================================

Rose Tea Garden Tourist Court

not googleable.

=====================================================================

Sam the Tailor

That address is deep in what is now 'the 'hood.'  There is a Sam's Custom Tailors at 12th & Mifflin in South Philly that may be related to the above Sam.  Or not.

========================================================================

Thus ends today's collection.

But look at this fun thing I found on the 'net:

You'd have thought that little foot would have set her straight that this was not a human.

That's a very adorable cat.  And the little white bonnet sends that adorableness to somewhere in the stratosphere.
