                                                           Beautiful swan. 

 Found, I'm pretty sure, on one of those photography contests.

BTW, you haven't lived until you've heard swans in flight.  

A couple years ago, the hubs, and I were riding our bikes around Lake Lily, which is in Cape May Point, NJ.  They're are usually a swan or three in that lake.  When they rise to fly the sound of their wings flapping is a VERY memorable sound.

Last month I mentioned that I was going to count how many old advertising ashtrays were in my collection.

Turns out the total is...

That's one hundred and fifty-nine advertising ashtrays, bought over a period of... well I don't know exactly, but really - how cool is it to have that many???

Extremely so, I'd say.. 

Here's my latest vintage advertising ashtray:

                                                  Bavarian Premium Beer

                                         Mount Carbon Brewery - Pottsville, PA 

Mount Carbon Brewery ran from 1941 until 1977.  Yuengling bought the rights to the name and label, but retired it a few years later.

Although I found another one, but it grew legs, and now it's hiding from me.

Not a whole lot of info about this place on the 'net.  Mainly just that it morphed into Acorn Market, which closed in 2020.  

The squirrel is kinda cute.
