MORE more truly puzzling with Roy G. Biv

Even on Christmas Day, the FullServiceBohemian is busy at work.

Part of the work today bringing you jigsaw puzzles that reflect the 'Y' in Roy G. Biv.

Y = yellow.

Here we go!

                         Peugeot made bicycles long before they began making automobiles.

 ====================================================================

he may be yella

but he's still the King of the Jungle.

This I'll never get because lions do not live in jungles.

======================================================================

we be flying

1939 Boeing 915

====================================================================

Let's look at TV!

====================================================================

Meet the (anthropomorphic)Vegetables

=======================================================================

And then have a cuppa joe !!
====================================================================

Thus ends the 'Roy' part of Roy G. Biv.

We'll have green intensive jigsaw puzzles soon.

The Tuesday Song of the Week

 Today's TSotW has some remote Hanukkah appeal for all of you who are celebrating.

'Dreidel' - Don McLean

In my opinion, this song should be WAYYYY better known.  Even though the oldies stations never play it.

Truly Puzzling with Roy G. Biv !!

Today, and going forward, seven or eight more times, we be having jigsaw puzzles, in Roy G. Biv, i.e. red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo, violet. Or indigo/violet as one category.

Since I really don't think indigo is its own color. I mean, it's sorta blue, and sorta purplish a little, but not really distinctive, get what I'm saying?

I'm sure you do.

BTW, my jigsaw puzzle putting-together philosophy:  It's a very calming thing to do, and I do some of my best thinking when I'm putting a puzzle together.  When I was working in the animal shelter thrift store, once or twice a year this guy would come in looking for puzzles.  His practice was to put on a jazz cd, while putting the puzzle together.  We were of one mind, re: how it works on your brain, i.e. very positively.

Also, putting together a puzzle with a group is a fun thing to do, and fosters a lot of conversation.  When I was at University of Exeter a hundred years ago, with my group from Penn State, on our off hours, we would sometimes work on jigsaw puzzles together, and have a great time doing it.

This would also be a fun thing for Christmas, especially with people you only see once a year.

=====================================================================

Now, today's puzzles, heavy on the color red:

                                       big red flower and pale ghost of big red flower

=======================================================================

SUPER COOL early 1940s movie poster for forgotten movie

Read the book, saw the movie, put together the puzzle.

===================================================================

Elephants rate everywhere, and at all times

=======================================================================

Probably the most difficult jigsaw puzzle in my shop

==================================================================

take a ride in red!

======================================================================

Ask a red question!

===================================================================

The King, the Queen, and the Jack/Knave of Hearts

=======================================================================

That's it for today.  More - if I can get to it - tomorrow.

Until then, see the other 2,000+ puzzles in my shop here:

The Tuesday Song of the Week

Not a huge fan of Billy Joel - so many of his songs feel like he's hitting me on the head with a hammer - but this one has a rare light touch.
