Something sorta fun from 1950.

'Love Don't Love Nobody' - Roy Brown

If I had heard this on radio or whatever, I'd have immediately assumed the voice was Jackie Wilson.

The Star Made Me Buy It

Today's star is Mary Martin for White Rock mineral water.

I don't have much to say about Mary Martin.  She was basically a Broadway personage. She was in a few movies, none of which I ever heard of, and the only memorable thing she did on TV was Peter Pan, in the 1950s.  Long before I hit the planet.

So I've never actually seen her do anything.

She was Larry Hagman's mom, so that's something.
