Hair it is!

Some thoroughly adorable vintage barrettes:

The above are only a few of the many I got last week at a flea market.  All in one cigar box and all for...

I'm embarrassed to say.

old time retailing relics

Pre-proliferation of malls, when people shopped at little stores in their own community, you'd see this in the window of a store selling children's clothes:
                                  1930's compo display boy doll

for ladies only

The item above is called a 'merry widow.'
It hails from the 1950's.
Until at least the mid-70s ladies were expected to have all their pulchritude - top and bottom - encased in something that would prevent jiggle.  (Even for those gals who had hardly anything TO jiggle.)

Great horny toads!

Um, I mean great horns!

Like this:

Horn candelabra!

Mystery horn thingie.  Good for dried flowers, pens and pencils, and Pixy Stix.

And last, but certainly not least:

A horn dog.
