Bag o' the Day

Here's one I'm especially fond of.

I love birds, love anything with birds on it.

This weekend was at a flea market and got a BEAUTIFUL Black Forest-carved box with birds on the front.  I'll show you a picture once I get it out of the trunk.

Until then enjoy this bag printed with other beautiful birds, originally found on a Victorian trade card:

Tickets please

Lotsa movie ticket stubs are from movies I don't remember all that well, beyond the title.

Today's is from a movie I not only don't remember bupkis about, I don't even remember seeing a movie with this title.

Yet here we have the stub that proves that I did:

Object of Beauty

There's nobody in this movie I would have paid $6 just to see.  And the plot isn't anything I'd be all excited to get in line for.

Therefore whoever I saw this with is the person who chose that we see this.

The Star Made Me Buy It

We've seen today's star before, but she looks much better here than in the earlier post.

Donna Reed for Chase & Sanborn
This was from a series of ads exactly like this one.  At first they used unnamed models, then they began using celebrities.  In addition to Donna Reed, I have this ad with a few other big names somewhere in my Magical Storage Room of Marvelosity.

Bag o' the Day

We haven't had a Bag o' the Day in a really long time, I think.

However, this one was worth waiting for:

From my huhYOOGE collection of old orange crate labels.  As bright and colorful and Shamrock as you could possibly desire.

Get it here:
