Have found some SUPER MEGA AWESOME stuff over the last month or two, much of it from my favorite antique shop, which, because it was closing for good, had some very deep discounts.
This was one of those rare stores that had been in business for decades, selling ONLY antiques. I'm kinda devastated, but I'll probably eventually get over it.
Now on to what you came for...
ten teeny tiny cookie cutters
These are almost too small for actual cookies, since from nose to tail, size ranges from 1.25" to 2". but they would be perfect for cookie embellishments, and cake embellishments. There are three birds, one of which is obviously a duck, and one which looks like it be a chick. The third suggests a sparrow.
There are also a cat, a fox, a cow (which actually might be a bear. It's hard to tell.), what looks like it might be a bunny,
The rest are hard to identify, but at least one is definitely a dog.
And hey, if you don't want to use these for baking and/or crafty pursuits, there's also the challenge of getting all of them into their little metal home. That could be a game in itself! It took me a really long time to get all of them in there.

Next we have something for the marriage-minded
A very small wedding, size-wise since the officiant is the tallest, at only 4.25" high. I'm actually pretty sure I have a bisque parson figurine, same size as the groom, same age (from around 1930), but if it do, he's buried somewhere in my Magical Garage of Wonders.===================================================================
next up something very purple and lovely
in amethyst tree form
note that the colors are waayyyyy stronger in person.
I had to use a flash, or all you'd see would be a purplish blot.
If you need someone to keep you in line, we have the answer: SOLD

Now for something so rare, so maahvelous. so completely all that and then some, you oughta sit down, pull up your socks, and pay attention:
A tooled leather handbag dated 1888.
That little brown part on the side is an indication that there's an exterior pocket.lotsa neat heads
full back view
The metal clasp and frame are as shiny as when this was new. And overall, the bag is in astonishing condition, considering it's at least 134 years old.
The paperwork found in the bagMrs. Garrett was the wife of Thomas C. Garrett, mayor of Atlantic City, NJ from 1885 to 1887.The Tiltons were also prominent in NJ history. There's a Tilton Road in Atlantic County.

Another marvel, from maybe a decade after the date of the above bag:
carved conch shell lamp shade
small, and therefore perfect for a fairy lamp, or other smallish lamp
