With the popularity of the series The Crown, peeps are getting more interested in the British royal family, a centuries-long soap opera.
I submit that it was more interesting long before Queen Elizabeth II arrived on the scene. The highlight season was the period between 1800 and 1910 or so.
One of the better known supporting characters was HRH The Princess of Wales, Alexandra of Denmark.
Alexandra was one of the few acknowledged 'beauties,' of the era who actually still looks good to modern eyes.
Especially on a tote bag!
