2022's First Haul of Antiques and Untiques

Happy New Year!

And a happy look at some very awesome awesomeness, antique-ally and untique-ally speaking.

Here we go, starting with something VERY unique...

     1970s embroidered wool blanket  SOLD

2022 is my 30th year as an antiques dealer, yet  I've never found ANYTHING like the above.

The embroidery is made up of a racoon, a chipmunk, a bunny rabbit...

a cardinal, a robin...

some butterflies...

a mushroom, some corn..

and lotsa plants and flowers.

Size is 50" x 72", plus another 3.25" of fringe.  SUPER condition, only imperfection being a teensy weensy moth bite or three.

 Welcome to the dance!

In this pic, it almost looks as if she's seated.  Notice the placement of her waist, and you see that she IS standing, and her skirt is just flouncing in an epic manner.

What looks like dirt on her skirt is actually gold sparkly-ness.

My camera's flash makes it look not so good.  But in person, it's lovely.

And when you're through dancing, you can plant a plant in the back!
She's 8.25" tall.

SYROCO!!!!

Oh, how I love those old Syroco wall plaques, and the two VERY neato ones currently on offer

fruit

and flowers

Next up, the most interesting Asian vase EVER

I thought maybe it was Chinese - and it may be - but I'm really not sure.

Anybody have any idea?

Then I thought, 'Maybe it's Korean,' but I haven't found any Korean pottery that looks like this.

The only thing I'm sure of it how awesome it is.

Next we have some natural marvelousness   SOLD

striped fox horse conch shell

=========================================================================

Lastly, we have this ADORABLE Erphila beagle puppy figurine   SOLD

Check out the big puppy paws.

Check out the sweet puppy expression.
