Today's star is a kinda unique choice:
Charles Laughton was one of those old timey actors whose every performance was perfection.
His performance in The Hunchback of Notre Dame always makes me cry.
His performance in Ruggles of Red Gap is a total hoot.
Another one that pulls at my heartstrings is his role in This Land Is Mine. That movie is a must-see, being one of the few World War II movies that do not actually show much fighting, although there are several Nazis being evil in it.
