I usually post the first haul in the first third of the month, but I've been busy with all kinds of other stuff.
Anyway, here it is!
First up, a beeYOOtiful footed art glass bowl
in a shade of blue that's stronger than what you see here.===========================================================================
cute print secretary dress circa 1979
very all that floral print, accordion pleat skirtThere are no labels here, nor any belt loops, so I'm guessing this was made by a VERY able home seamstress.
========================================================================
next, something about 70 years younger than the above dress SOLD
Eons ago, I had a sterling silver mesh bag, also marked John Wanamaker.
Haven't found any jewelry signed John Wanamaker dating any later than 1935 or so.
John Wanamaker aka Wanamaker's was a Philadelphia area department store chain. Their flagship store on 13th street was probably the most beautiful department store in the USA.
========================================================================
something VERY neato for the crafter
These VERY cute double bird thingies are made from mother of pearl.
Two holes, one in each bird's feathers, so you can sew these onto just about anything!!
=====================================================================
Dutch speculaas molds/ cookie molds/ springerle molds !
for cookie making OR home decor!!retrofitted at some point with metal loops for hanging purposes
below is another one! SOLD
We're wrapping this collection up with this fabulous geisha ware teapot/chocolate pot
