April's First Haul of Antiques and Untiques

 Some epic neato stuff, and more in the pipeline!  And in my car.

Really.  Went to an auction a week ago, and there's exactly enough room in my car for me, the stuff I haven't yet taken out, and a few air molecules.

Anyway, let's go:

one of the neato-est bags I've ever found

The zig-zag bag!!

========================================================================

Next something SUPER cute:

in jigsaw puzzle form!   SOLD

i.e. six bird puzzles, eight pieces per puzzle

Note that the white backgrounds do not stick to the puzzles.

  They're there to keep the pieces from getting lost or scrambled with others of the puzzles.

The blurry spots that appear on a few of the puzzles aren't actually ON the puzzles.

They're  just a trick of my camera.

==========================================================================

Bascal anodized aluminum is in the house!

in dessert bowl form.

===========================================================================

suh'm BEAUTIFUL

in silent butler form!

===========================================================================

Some MORE beautiful-ness!!

I've seen MANY floral silverplate trays over the years,

but this is the only one I've seen with a variety of flowers.

made around 1940 - or perhaps earlier - by Weidlich Brothers.

=====================================================================

That's it for today.  Soooooo much more coming!
