Today, we have two stars for the price of one.
To wit, Perry Como and Jo Stafford for Chesterfield cigarettes.
Perry had a gazillion hits, but the one I remember most from one I was a kid was 'Catch a Falling Star.'Saved on my computer I have two duets of Jo Stafford and Johnny Mercer singing 'Conversation While Dancing,' a great song with I think contains history's first use of the word 'groovy.' and also 'It's Great to Be Alive.'
