neat stuff + December's Third Haul of Antiques and Untiques

 The Full-Service Bohemian is at work even on Christmas.

Which brings us to this sweet thing a lady gave me at work today.  (The Full-Service Bohemian has a part-time gig outside of being The Full-Service Bohemian.)

              This is actually a little box, in which are three pieces of of Ferrero Roche candy.

I asked her where she got it, and she told me that she made it, and that she has a group of women who get together to make items like this, just for fun and gifts and such.

Note that it's even cuter in person.

Now onto the antiques and untiques...

                                               a marvelous Nyman Decoys kingfisher

Nyman Decoys were made by the late Ray Nyman, based in New Jersey's Pine Barrens.

Lotsa info on the 'net about Ray and his work.

======================================================================

                                           model boat with sails made from bone !!

======================================================================

                                        super appealing copper finish elephant with howdah

======================================================================

from elephants to pigs...

                        Specifically a bisque pig (or pigs plural. Or pig and piglet) match safe

                                                                        'Me too'

==========================================================================

and another piggie thing...

                                                         pig chocolate mold or candy mold

=======================================================================

On to some vintage fashion...

                                                   Welcome to the Sixties !!

The fabric here has a wooly-ish feel, but I'm guessing it's acrylic pretending to be wool.

Beautifully made, FLAWLESS condition.

And approximately a contemporary size 6.
