November 2023's third haul of antiques and untiques

Got some fantabulous items last week from a lady who's in 'getting rid of' mode.  You'll see all soon, but until then we got...

Mary and her little lamb

This isn't one of those contemporary thin-ish metal renderings of Victorian this and that, which is mostly used for jewelry.  It's actually rather solid, and there's some black residue on the back from where it was once affixed.  Wish I knew what kind of item that was.

BTW, this looks wayyyyy better in person.

a lovely dress for Autumn

direct from the 1980s to you.

It's a 1980s size 8, which translates approximately to a contemporary size 2

Rewinding about 60 years...

I've found tons of old advertising tins over the years, but this is the first one with a paper label.

 ======================================================================

one of the cutest cat figurines EVER

So small, but sooo much personality.

Lastly, but zillions miles from leastly, we have...

          The Partridge Family!   SOLD

in lunchbox form AND with its original thermos!

A Partridge Family-related memory:

In third grade there was a kid in my class named Cos Semosky (I think it was Semosky.  Might have been something similar.)

Cos had horrible asthma, which made him an easy target for the class bullies.

I was not one of them.

His gratitude was such that one morning in class he sang, 'I Think I Love You' to me.

That's it.  That's all.

At least for today.

Until next time, see more, get more here:
