the Tuesday Song of the Week

The other night the hubs and I watched True Stories, which I hadn't seen since it came out in '86.  It has one of my Top 10 All-Time Favorite Songs:

 Wild Wild Life - Talking Heads

At the time I could not believe that this did not get an Oscar nomination for best song, and yet that stupid piece of garbage ('Mean Green Critter from Somewhere') from that awful Little Shop of Dreck movie (which, yes, I did waste money good money on, and for my trouble lost 94 minutes of my life that I'll never get back) DID get nominated.

Idiots.
