1920s sterling silver marcasite brooch with two birds drinking from a (glass? enamel?) bowl.

Note that our piggy friend is blue and white.

I have five or six, or seven or eight other pig figurines awaiting my attention.

in a thoroughly maaahvelous Western horse print!

A nice BIG piece, measuring 66" wide x 82" from top to bottom.  And in PERFECT condition.

a SUPER-CUTE owl made from horn.

advertising ashtrays collection additions

Pretty soon I'm pretty sure I'll be the person with the most old advertising ashtrays in the 

WORLD.  

Which is a nice spot to inhabit.

Gibbons Beer & Ale of Wilkes-Barre, PA

There's a LOT of info about this brewery on the 'net.  Gibbons beer was done by 2009.

Luby's

Still in business!

At one time they owned Fuddrucker's.  For a short time there was a Fuddruckers in Philly, on the property that was once the huhYOOGE Sears tower warehouse.  It was imploded on October 31, 1994.  I'm remember being in the shower at the time of the implosion. For reals.  

BTW, Fuddruckers: best hamburger I ever had.  The other best hamburger I ever had was at Rossi's Bar & Grille, which at the time was in Trenton.  Now it's in Hamilton.

Motel 81, Martinsburg, WV

At the moment there's a postcard on eBay that depicts this motel. 

There's a motel in Martinsburg that looks like the picture on the postcard, but it isn't called Motel 81 no more.
