I've been aware of this song for years, but never thought much about it. Then recently, I really listened to it.
Sometimes it takes really listening to get the appeal of whatever.
Here it is:

Today's star is Mary Martin for White Rock mineral water.
I don't have much to say about Mary Martin. She was basically a Broadway personage. She was in a few movies, none of which I ever heard of, and the only memorable thing she did on TV was Peter Pan, in the 1950s. Long before I hit the planet.
So I've never actually seen her do anything.
She was Larry Hagman's mom, so that's something.
Tomorrow school starts for a lot of kids.
I know that in some places school started two weeks ago or better (which, sorry, is totally insane), but that's not what we're about here.
But rather our very neato school and school work-related, or just plain regular work-related Mug of the Month.
Old Royal typewriter, the old wheel eraser/brush thingie, a container of freshly sharpened and ready to go no. 2 pencils, paperclips, yada.
The perfect mug for your desk.
