September's first antiques and untiques

It would blow your entire mind if you knew how much awesome awesomeness is still in the pipeline.

But here's what we have for your today:

exquisite repoussé jewelry box

==========================================================================

art nouveau wall sconces SOLD
 ========================================================================

another example of antique metal, this in the shape of a 1920s compote SOLD

==========================================================================

four marvelous COLORFUL place settings of Lenox Ware, late of St. Louis, MO, melamine
SOLD

dinner plates in sage green, blue, pink and yellow
(note that the green is greener in person)

bread plates in blue, sage green, and pink

cups and saucers in green, blue, yellow, and pink

=============================================================================

Next up, sometime from slightly later, i.e. the 1970s.

Ladies and gentleman - but mostly ladies - I give you the carrot print halter dress

That Emily M. label showing the size as 11/12, is actually showing the 1970s version of size 0/2.  So while the dress is huge in awesomeness and also vegan appeal - what's more vegan that carrots? -- it's very small in size.
==========================================================================

Back from later to slightly earlier, time-wise...

1960s Dream Pets dog chillin' on her surfboard SOLD

resting on her elbows like all cool people -- and stuffed toy dogs - do.

When I was a kid, my oldest brother worked as a busboy at Howard Johnson.  Almost every time he came home, it was with a Dream Pet he'd gotten for me from the gift shop.

Wish I still had them all.
==========================================================================

Speeding ahead in time, we have this beauty from the 1980s...

from Unique Creations of San Francisco SOLD

Can anyone tell me if Unique Creations is still in business?  Seems they haven't posted to Facebook since 2018.
=====================================================================

That's all for now, but as previously mentioned, sooooooo much more in the pipeline.  (And although not mentioned, soooooooooo much more going into the pipeline)
