First blessing of the week

I mean the first oddball blessing, and not the usual (and deeply appreciated) ones like having a roof over my head and food in the refrigerator and clothes in the closet.

 Here it is:
 The above possum was on the top of the fence between my house and the next house at around 6:00 a. m. 

He (or she) seemed very relaxed, although it was my husband's opinion that it had been dazed by the light from my backyard lightbulb and/or my camera's flash.

    I sometimes see possums on the wall between my house and the next door neighbor. They sometimes come out in the daylight. They look like giant rats. Yucko!
