macho macho man

A few years back I found at a flea market a whole box of playbills, dating from the Edwardian era up to the early 1930s.

Among these was a 1909 playbill for the Theatre National de L''Opera's production of Samson et Delila.

Which brings us to the singer listed as M. Noté, who played Le grande prétre de Dagon (the grand priest of Dagon). Monsieur Noté may be forgotten, but he looks awesome -- and mucho macho -- on all sorts of items.

Including, but not limited to...

 cufflinks !!

buttons !!

pillows !!

and even appearing in multicolored grids of his image !!

on bags (lotsa bags, not just this one)

on ties

And on LOTSA more stuff !  Such as cards, gift wrap, gift bags, t-shirts, magnets, clocks, throw blankets, mugs, and more more more.

Any and all of the above would make a super-neat gift for the opera lover!!  The pillows, blankets and clocks would also look maaavelous in the man cave !!
