I was here

Even went to a Sunday service there, approximately a gazillion and three years ago:

This was the highest of High Church.  There was some guy there part of the liturgy who wasn't the pastor, but had some other function.

This guy was rolling his Rs like nobody's business.

The Star Made Me Buy It

Whatever happened to Randolph Scott?
Or even Myron C. Albertson??

I've always thought Randolph Scott looked like he could have been Gary Cooper's very slightly less handsome brother.

True fact: They were both 6'3"

Scott made it to age 89.  Cooper sloughed off the mortal coil at only age 60.

Bag of the Week

We've been neglecting the fact that men are occasionally in the need of a bag for their stuff, like laptops and books and so have you.

So this week, we got something that, in my experience, men go for in a big way.

Airplanes.

Specifically, SUPER cool military aircraft circa 1939, found in an old magazine I have on aviation and aircraft and such.

The above are the 1939-40 British Fairey Junior Medium Bomber.
