You simply would not believe what I paid for it.

Here's a hint: the vendor was a man about 75 years old, and everything else on his table was sorta macho: military stuff and insulators, etc.

Yep, I think a bear DOES look good on a wallet, especially when the wallet includes a rustic backdrop.

And even more so when the wallet in question is over 50 years old, and has spent each and every one of those 50 years in its original box.
